Privacy Policy
The short version
- We collect only what we need to make our products work for you.
- We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- Each Hyperture product has its own product-specific privacy notice with more detail.
- You can ask us to delete your data at any time — write to privacy@hyperturetech.com.
1. About this Policy
This Policy describes how Hyperture Technologies ("Hyperture", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information across our website, our applications, and any services we operate. It applies to our corporate website (hyperturetech.com) and to our products at the corporate level. Each individual Hyperture product has its own product-specific privacy notice that complements this policy.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
When you contact us, sign up for a product, or otherwise interact with us, we may collect:
- Contact information — name, email address, and any details you include in a message.
- Account information — for our products that require an account (such as Elixira), the information you supply during signup.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processors (Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe). We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit our website or use our products, we may automatically collect:
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and pages visited.
- Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated data about how visitors use our site and our products (which features are used, error reports, performance metrics). This data does not identify you personally.
2.3 Cookies
Our website uses minimal cookies — only those strictly necessary for the site to function. We do not use tracking, advertising, or behavioural cookies.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve our website and products.
- Respond to messages and support requests.
- Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset, important service notices).
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
- Comply with legal obligations.
We never sell your personal information. We never share your information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar law, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the services you have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our products, prevent fraud, and communicate with you.
- Consent — where required, such as for optional analytics.
- Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law.
5. Sharing Information
We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as necessary:
- Service providers — companies we use to operate (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing). They process data only on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality.
- Legal authorities — if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Successors — if Hyperture is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction. You will be notified before this happens.
6. Data Retention
We keep information only for as long as we need it. Contact correspondence is retained for as long as necessary to address your enquiry. Account information for our products is retained while your account is active; if you delete your account, your data is removed from our active systems within 30 days (some backup copies may persist for up to 90 days). Anonymous analytics may be retained longer.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS), encryption at rest where applicable, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure — but we take this seriously.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information.
- Object to or restrict processing.
- Receive your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent (where consent is the legal basis).
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@hyperturetech.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children
Our products are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher threshold). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact privacy@hyperturetech.com and we will delete it.
10. International Transfers
Our service providers may be located in different countries. When we transfer your information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to ensure your information remains protected.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice on our site or in our apps.
